Cabinet Approves 3% Hike in DA for Central Employees and DR for Pensioners

The Union Cabinet has approved Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners by three per cent. Briefing the media after the cabinet meeting in New Delhi today, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that this will benefit about 49.2 lakh central government employees and 68.7 lakh pensioners.
