Yashasvi Jaiswal made 51 runs while Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 43 runs off 16 balls. For the Punjab Kings, Yuzvendra Chahal took 3 wickets. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl. Put into bat, Punjab Kings scored 222 for four in the stipulated 20 overs. Marcus Stoinis was the top scorer with an unbeaten 62 runs, followed by Prabhsimran Singh, who contributed 59 runs. For the Rajasthan Royals, Yash Raj Punja scalped 2 wickets. Donovan Ferreira was adjudged Player of the Match.
