Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan today witnessed Sargam 2026, a performance by the Indian Naval Symphonic Orchestra that celebrates the Indian Navy’s rich traditions through a blend of military, classical, and contemporary music, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today.
The band presented a vibrant musical repertoire featuring Hindustani fusion to Brazilian samba-inspired compositions. The performance also included pieces ranging from legendary Tamil music composer Shri M. S. Viswanathan’s ‘Rajavin Parvai’ to traditional folk tunes from western India. The band also performed a special patriotic musical presentation on Operation Sindoor named ‘Kasam Sindoor Ki’.
