In a social media post, the Vice President said that Adi Shankaracharya revitalized the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma. He said that Adi Shankaracharya’s teachings inspire people to pursue knowledge, uphold truth, and foster compassion in their lives. In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said that Adi Shankaracharya’s profound teachings, thoughts and philosophy of Advaita Vedanta continue to guide innumerable people globally. He said that the efforts of Adi Shankaracharya to revitalise spiritual thought and establish spiritual centres across the nation remain a lasting inspiration. The Prime Minister also expressed hope that Adi Shankaracharya’s wisdom will continue to illuminate the path and strengthen the commitment to truth, compassion and collective well-being.
