Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari reviewed the Quality and Maintenance progress of various highways of Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim in New Delhi.
On the occasion, Mr Gadkari emphasised the timely execution and the adoption of advanced technologies to ensure sustainable, efficient highways to strengthen connectivity and commuter convenience.
The Minister also directed officials to ensure full monsoon preparedness with preventive measures and robust response systems to uphold road safety and durability. He further called for outcome-driven execution with clear accountability at every stage, ensuring long-term performance of highway assets.
In a social media post, Mr Gadkari said that he acted on feedback received through media and social media and reviewed the Quality and Maintenance progress of these National Highways. Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
