J&K: Tiranga Bike and Car Rally Organised in Ramban under Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan to Promote Drug-Free Society

In Jammu and Kashmir, a Tiranga bike and car rally was organised in Ramban district today under the ‘Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan’ to spread awareness about a drug-free society.

The rally, organised by the Maitra Company of 23 Rashtriya Rifles, saw enthusiastic participation from local youth, school children, government officials, and personnel from the Army and police. It was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, in the presence of senior officials.

The rally began from Dak Bungalow and passed through key locations including Jhula Bridge, Maitra Company Operating Base, Jaswal Bridge, Karool and Ramban Market. Participants carried the national flag and displayed banners highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse.

The initiative aimed to sensitise youth about the dangers of narcotics and promote collective efforts to eliminate drug addiction. It also reflected the Army’s continued outreach to strengthen ties with the local population and encourage youth engagement. The rally concluded with an appeal to support the campaign and work towards a safer, healthier and drug-free society.
