Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi is scheduled to campaign in West Bengal today with a series of public meetings and road shows ahead of the Assembly elections. Shri Modi will address a public meeting at Thakurnagar at 1:30 PM followed by visit to Matua Thakur Mandir for darshan and puja.

Later in the afternoon, Shri Modi will hold another public meeting at Haripal.In the evening, he is scheduled to offer puja at Thanthania Kali Bari. The Prime Minister will conclude the day’s programme with a roadshow in Kolkata from B.K. Pal Avenue to Khanna Crossing beginning at 5:30 PM.

Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee is also scheduled to hold a number of rallies today. According to party sources, he will address a public meeting in Magrahat and take part in a roadshow at Falta in South 24 Parganas district.

CPIM, Congress and ISF have also lined up series of rallies and road shows accross the state today.
