Jharkhand is witnessing extreme weather conditions, with intense heat in some districts while others are experiencing rain, hailstorms, and lightning. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the next three days, warning of thunderstorms, strong winds, and rainfall in several districts. In the past 24 hours, Daltonganj recorded a maximum temperature of 44.9 degrees Celsius, while Sundarpahari received 60.2 millimetres of rainfall. The department has advised people to remain cautious and stay in safe places during adverse weather conditions.
