IMD forecasts scorching heat conditions to continue over parts of Northwest and Central India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast scorching heat conditions to continue over parts of Northwest and Central India for the next three days and abate thereafter. According to IMD, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Vidarbha will experience heatwave conditions till tomorrow.

The weather agency has predicted Hot and humid weather conditions in isolated pockets over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe and Tamil Nadu today. It also said that Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and West Madhya Pradesh will likely experience warm night conditions today. The met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. The weather body predicted Heavy Rainfall at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim.
