IMD issues yellow alert for hot and humid conditions in Keralam till Sunday

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Karnataka for the next two- three days. The Met Department has said that Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and Rayalaseema are likely to experience heat wave conditions for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Odisha will also experience warm night conditions till 21st of this month. According to IMD, Banda, Uttar Pradesh has experienced the highest maximum temperature of 44.4 degree Celsius today. The weather agency has predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for tomorrow.

IMD has forecast thunderstorms accompanied with hailstorms over North Eastern parts of the country, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha till Sunday.
