India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red colour warning for Heat Wave to Severe Heat Wave conditions over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha till tomorrow.

An orange colour warning for heatwave conditions has been issued over Delhi, Haryana and Chandigarh. Heat wave conditions are also expected over Punjab, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Telangana and Uttarakhand today.

IMD also forecasts hot and Humid weather conditions over Gangetic West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next two days.

Meanwhile, warm night conditions are expected over Odisha and Uttar Pradesh till tomorrow. The Weather Agency further predicted heavy rainfall over North Eastern parts of the country, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Mahe, and Karnataka till tomorrow.
