The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast severe heatwave conditions over Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat tomorrow. The Met department further predicted an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh for tomorrow. IMD has said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to prevail over the northeastern region, Chhattisgarh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for two to three days. The weather agency has predicted light to moderate rainfall or snowfall likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh tomorrow.
