India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at places over Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today. Parts of north-east India, Karnataka, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Kerala and Mahe are expected to experience thunderstorms and lightning during the day. The Weather Agency also predicted heatwave conditions today over Saurashtra and Kutch. Hot and Humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat State, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan and Goa, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 3-4 days.
