The Government has debunked a video circulating on social media that falsely shows Defence Minister Rajnath Singh promoting an investment platform.
The fake video claims that a one-time deposit of ₹22,000 can generate a guaranteed monthly income of up to ₹15 lakh. The fact-check unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has clarified that the video is fake and AI-generated.
The PIB noted that the Government has not endorsed any such investment platform or scheme. It further advised citizens not to click on suspicious links and urged them to verify information only from official sources.
