Assam: Indian Oil Corporation assures no disruption in domestic, commercial LPG cylinder supply 

In Assam, Indian Oil Corporation has assured that there is no disruption in the supply of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders across the state. Addressing the media in Guwahati today, Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation, Nitin Bhatnagar, said that gas production and supply are continuing normally at all four refineries in Assam.
 
He informed that 84 per cent of consumers in the state have adopted the newly introduced e-KYC system for booking LPG cylinders. He said the Delivery Authentication Code compliance has also seen a significant rise, reaching 72 per cent from 37 per cent just two months ago.
 
Consumers have been urged to opt for digital booking methods and share the Delivery Authentication Code at the time of delivery to ensure safe and transparent distribution. At present, around 93 lakh consumers are being regularly supplied with fuel across the state.
 
Responding to complaints of overpricing, he informed that the corporation has issued notices to 88 distributors. Of these, 6 have been suspended, and 3 individuals have been arrested.
