Andhra Pradesh’s State Land Allotment Committee (SLAC) has approved 599 investment proposals during its meeting held in Amaravati. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), A.S. Dinesh Kumar. A total of 915 applications for allotment of industrial land across various industrial parks in the state were reviewed.
The approved proposals involve a total investment of over 2000 crore rupees and are expected to generate employment for about 11,488 people. The projects will come up across 215.80 acres of land in 19 districts. The proposals pertain to sectors including manufacturing, MSMEs, food processing, engineering, automobiles, electronics, logistics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
