The Vice President, C. P. Radhakrishnan, attended the 6th Convocation Ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. On this occasion, the Executive Director of AIIMS, Professor Dr. Meenu Singh, said that this convocation is not only a celebration of the academic achievements of students but also a symbol of AIIMS Rishikesh’s commitment to producing dedicated, capable, and ethical healthcare professionals for the nation.

 

The Executive Director informed that a total of 386 students from various courses were awarded degrees during the sixth convocation ceremony. She further stated that a total of 23 medals were awarded on this occasion, including 13 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals given to students for outstanding performance in different courses.

 

During the event, the Governor of the state, Gurmit Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Union Minister of State (Health & Family Welfare), Anupriya Patel, were also present.
