Vice President C P Radhakrishnan has extended his greetings to the nation on the occasion of World Heritage Day today. In a social media post, he said that India’s rich cultural and natural heritage stands as a testament to the country’s civilizational depth, diversity, and enduring values. He noted that from ancient monuments and sacred sites to vibrant traditions and ecological treasures, the nation’s heritage reflects the collective spirit of its people across generations.

Highlighting the vision of Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi, the Vice President emphasised the commitment towards achieving development while preserving and promoting the country’s invaluable heritage. Mr Radhakrishnan said that this day reminds everyone of the shared responsibility to protect and conserve these assets for future generations. He also called for reaffirming collective commitment towards safeguarding heritage and spreading greater awareness about its significance.
