Union Labour and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the newly constructed 100-bedded ESIC Hospital at Doddaballapur, Karnataka, on Sunday. Dr Mandaviya will also lay the foundation stone for a 100-bedded ESIC Hospital at Bellary, Karnataka, on the day.
Ministry of Labour and Employment said that these healthcare facilities mark a significant milestone in strengthening healthcare delivery under the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme in the region.
The ESIC Hospital at Doddaballapur, Bengaluru Rural, has been built over five acres for one hundred and one crore rupees. It is expected to serve over one lakh insured workers and their families. The proposed ESIC Hospital at Bellary will be developed with an estimated cost of over one hundred and fifty crore rupees and will provide modern, state-of-the-art healthcare services to insured persons and their families under the ESI Scheme.
