Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya joined the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 virtually and interacted with participants across the country. Addressing the closing ceremony of the quest yesterday, he encouraged youth to actively contribute to the vision of a developed India, noting that they play a significant role in strengthening democracy. MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 was conceptualised as a national platform to connect young citizens with governance processes and the Union Budget.
In his letter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the widespread participation of youth and highlighted that such dialogues unlock the creative potential of young minds and strengthen participatory governance, while shaping India’s future growth trajectory.
Addressing the grand finale of the National-Level MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 in New Delhi yesterday, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse highlighted that Nari Shakti is central to building an inclusive and Viksit Bharat. Ms Khadse emphasized that women’s empowerment is fundamental to a participatory and future-ready democracy.
She highlighted the importance of resilience, leadership, and greater participation of women and youth in nation-building. She also noted that platforms like MY Bharat are playing a crucial role in promoting structured youth engagement and awareness on economic and policy issues.
As a part of this nationwide quest, the Ministry organised the Nari Shakti Youth Parliament on 12th of this month across 17 zones nationwide. The initiative brought together over 7 thousand young women in an unprecedented exercise of democratic engagement and policy dialogue.
