Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, new dimensions of development have been established in the country over the past 11 years.
Addressing public gatherings at Bhanjraru and Salooni in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh today, the Minister said that, during this period, there has been unprecedented growth in road connectivity and banking services, as well as mobile and internet services. Mr Rijiju stated that the Central Government is committed to providing basic amenities in rural areas along with fulfilling future developmental needs.
The Union Minister also laid the foundation stone for an Indoor Stadium and the ITI building at Bhanjraru. He said that approximately 26 crore rupees will be spent on these development works, and the construction of the Indoor Stadium and ITI will contribute to the overall development of youth.
He further informed that development works worth 31 crore rupees have been initiated in the Chamba district by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
