The University Grants Commission (UGC) has organised a wide range of outreach programmes in universities and Colleges across the country for Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. The UGC said that these initiatives are encouraging informed dialogue on gender parity, constitutional values, and the importance of equitable representation of women in decision-making processes. It added that the initiative also contributed to the vision of inclusive and participatory governance. 

 

The programmes were organised in around 777 institutions, including 26 Central Universities, 32 State Universities, and 719 Colleges, engaging over 1 lakh participants across the country.
