Tipra Motha Party chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma today met Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu at the Raj Bhavan to stake claim for forming the government in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

During the meeting, Mr. Debbarma submitted that the party is entitled to form the council government, citing its clear single majority in the recently concluded Autonomous District Council elections. He urged the Governor to allow the formation of the government in accordance with constitutional provisions and established norms.

 

Notably, Tipra Motha secured a decisive mandate in the Autonomous District Council polls, emerging as the single largest party with an outright majority.
