A district-level training camp for the smooth conduct of the 2027 Census began today at the conference hall of Udaipur Circuit House under Gomati district in Tripura. During the inaugural session of the three-day programme, national-level census trainer Shubhajit Debray provided training on various digital aspects related to the census process. Director of the Tripura State Census Office, Ratan Biswas, explained the objectives and importance of the workshop at the beginning of the session.

Among others present were Additional District Magistrates Subhash Acharya and Sanjeev Debbarma, along with Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Additional SDMs, Block Officers from eight blocks, and officials engaged in census work across the district.
