In Tamil Nadu, government school students have registered a 91.86 per cent pass percentage in the Class 10 examinations this year.

Girl students have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.47 per cent, while boys recorded 92.15 per cent.

Out of 12,467 schools, 5,171 schools have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. As many as 1,931 government schools have recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage.

Pudukkottai, Sivaganga, Thanjavur, Tiruchirappalli and Kanyakumari districts have secured over 97 per cent pass percentage.

Out of 370 prison inmates who appeared for the examinations, 354 have successfully passed.
