In IPL cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad last night. Put in to bat first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 194 for nine in their stipulated 20 overs, with 59-run innings each from Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen. For Chennai, Anshul Kamboj and Jamie Overton picked up three wickets each. In reply, Chennai Super Kings could only manage 184 for eight in their 20 overs.
For Hyderabad, Eshan Malinga picked up three wickets, while Nitish Kumar Reddy took two. Malinga was awarded the player of the match. In another match, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets in a league match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru yesterday. Chasing a target of 176, Delhi scored 179 for six with one ball to spare. Today, Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata at 3:30 PM, while Punjab Kings will face Lucknow Super Giants in Chandigarh at 7:30 PM.
