The Ministry of Steel will conduct an Open House on the 27th of this month in New Delhi to discuss issues related to the import of steel. Companies and associations can register to participate by sending an email to tech-steel@nic.in. In a statement, the Steel Ministry said that walk-in participation will not be allowed due to logistic challenges and only one representative per organisation is permitted to ensure wider participation. The Ministry also advised that companies or associations facing issues related to SIMS, SARAL SIMS, or QCO exemption for steel imports should send their requests to the same email address by Friday at 3 PM to receive confirmed time slots.
