The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, has said that India is turning uncertainty into opportunity and data into discovery to power the country’s energy future. In a social media post, Mr Puri said that a conference on Data Driven Exploration, which was held today, reaffirmed that seismic data is the foundational lever for accelerating exploration participation and investment.

He further said that by welcoming a robust multi-client data ecosystem which allows more minds to interpret, innovate, and discover, India is decisively changing how Exploration and Production has been considered a sector of uncertainty. The Minister added that with the Samudra Manthan Mission, India’s vast offshore potential is being unlocked with openness, collaboration, and cutting-edge science to fulfil the country’s quest towards energy Atma Nirbharta.
