Punjab Police’s Counter Intelligence Wing has recovered 4 hand grenades and 2 foreign-made sophisticated pistols along with ammunition from an accused in Amritsar today.
Claiming to have busted another Pakistan’s ISI-backed cross-border terror module, police claim that the module was involved in a recent grenade attack in Chandigarh. Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused was acting on instructions of foreign-based handlers. He has been arrested in a joint operation by State Special Operations Cells of Amritsar and Mohali.
