The Poshan Tracker Application is monitoring over 14 lakh Anganwadi Centres and nearly nine crore beneficiaries under the POSHAN Abhiyaan. The POSHAN Abhiyaan is India’s flagship National Nutrition Mission focused on improving nutrition outcomes through convergence, technology and community mobilisation. Launched in 2021, the Poshan Tracker serves as the primary governance tool for monitoring infrastructure and service delivery.

The application has facilitated real-time data collection for Anganwadi Services, including the opening of Anganwadi Centres, daily attendance of children and growth monitoring. According to the Women and Development Ministry, currently the system is monitoring Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers, Children up to six years of age, and Adolescent Girls.

The Poshan Tracker application has enabled the Ministry and States and UTs to review the implementation of the scheme on various parameters, including the health and nutrition status of the children.
