A delegation of NITI Aayog today held a meeting on strengthening Centre-State collaboration and advancing cooperative federalism with West Bengal. The meeting was headed by Additional Secretary Rohit Kumar, and Programme Director (Health, WCD & SDG), Rajib Kumar Sen, with Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Statistics Department, Government of West Bengal, P.K. Mishra, along with officials from more than nine state departments.
In a statement, NITI Aayog said that the key initiatives reviewed during the meeting included the State Support Mission, Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme, Atal Innovation Mission, and other state-facing initiatives of NITI Aayog. It added that the engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Centre and the State towards inclusive growth and innovation-led development.
