NEET-UG paper leak case:  Five accused in judicial custody till 2nd of June by Delhi court

A Delhi court has sent five accused in the NEET paper leak case to judicial custody till 2nd of next month. The accused are Mangilal Khatik, Vikas Biwal, Dinesh Biwal, Yash Yadav, and Dhananjay Lokhande. The Court has also extended the CBI custody of another accused Shubham Khairnar. 
In its remand paper, CBI said, Khairnar needed to be further examined to identify and apprehend other co-accused persons to whom he had sold the NEET-UG 2026 papers. It said that the larger conspiracy and source of the leaked question paper had to be unearthed, and the accused had to be taken to various parts of the country, including Nasik in Maharashtra. 
The NEET (UG) 2026 exam  held on 3rd in this month was cancelled amid allegations of paper leak. The CBI has been given the task to carry out a comprehensive inquiry into the irregularities.
