MoSPI to organize National Deliberative Summit on ‘Harmonizing Administrative Data for Governance’ from April 29 

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) will organise a National Deliberative Summit on ‘Harmonising Administrative Data for Governance’ from 29th April in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The summit is being convened as a follow-up to the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries of State and Union territories held in December last year.

The summit will help in building consensus on the action plan and timelines for harmonising and making administrative data ready for wider use in policymaking and governance. The Ministry said that officers of the Planning and IT Departments of State and UT governments, the Central Ministry and Departments and other stakeholders will participate in the event. During the summit, experts from government, international agencies, think tanks and academia are expected to deliberate on various aspects of harmonisation of administrative data, interoperability and ecosystem development. The Summit will conclude on 30th April.
