The Tourism Directorate of the Government of Maharashtra is organising "Prabhu Shriram Mahotsav" on the 12th and 13th of August. In the two-day long festival, a Ramayana circuit tour has been organised for tourists on the 12th of August. Tourists will get an opportunity to visit tourist places related to Lord Rama in Nashik. These places include Anjaneri, Kavanai, Taked, Tapovan, Kalaram Mandir, Seeta Caves, and Ramkund.
While sharing details of this unique festival, Deputy Director of the Tourism Department Madhumati Sardesai-Rathod said that a painting competition for school students will also be organised at Raosaheb Thorat Auditorium of KTHM College on the 13th of August. In addition, a programme named ‘Nadabraham’ will be held in the evening and there will be a mass Ramaraksha Mantra recitation, a presentation of scenes from Ramayana, a documentary film, Bharatnatyam, and a musical programme.
