Maharashtra launches ‘Kasa Kay?’ campaign to boost healthcare awareness in rural areas

The Maharashtra government has launched the ‘Kasa Kay?’ public awareness campaign under the ‘Majhe Gaav, Arogya Sampanna Gaav’ initiative to strengthen healthcare awareness in rural areas.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the campaign yesterday at the state secretariat in Mumbai in the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Ajit Pawar.

The programme focuses on preventive healthcare, sanitation, nutrition, clean drinking water and disease control. Villages showing strong performance on health indicators will be recognised as “Arogya Sampanna Gaav”.

During the event, the government also unveiled the official health song, a promotional video and an informational booklet linked to the campaign.
