In Ladakh, World Heritage Day was celebrated in Kargil today with a heritage walk organised in Goma village under the theme “Emergency Response for Living Heritage in Contexts of Conflicts and Disasters.” 

 

Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, flagged off the walk. The walk covered key historical sites, including Khanka Goma and Imam Bargah Goma, where participants were briefed on their cultural significance.
