IPC signs MoU with PMBI and NIPER Hajipur to boost drug quality and patient safety

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) and National Institute of Pharmaceuticals Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur, to Promote Drug Quality, Research, and Patient Safety.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that these agreements reflect IPC’s continued efforts to strengthen India’s healthcare ecosystem by promoting quality assurance, patient safety, rational use of medicines, and innovation in pharmaceutical standards. It added that these collaborations will further reinforce India’s position as a global leader in pharmaceutical quality, regulatory excellence, and public health advancement.
