The Income Tax Department today conducted searches at the house and offices of Trinamool Congress leaders in Kolkata, including a TMC candidate for the upcoming Assembly election. Income tax officials today raided the house and office of Debashis Kumar, TMC leader and candidate for the Rashbehari assembly constituency in Kolkata, in connection with the money laundering case. Officials also searched the house and office of Kumar Saha, the Trinamool Congress trade union leader. Some documents have been seized from the office of Debashis Kumar.
