India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow. The IMD said that Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe and South Interior Karnataka will experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places. The weather agency has said that there will be a fall in minimum temperature by two to four degree celsius over Central India during the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the air quality in the Delhi-NCR region has continued to be in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 312 was recorded at 7 PM today. An Air Quality Index between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, and 301 and 400 very poor. An AQI between 401 and 450 is considered severe.
