The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave conditions at isolated places over Gujarat and West Rajasthan. The weather agency issued a red coloured warning for the thundersquall with wind speed reaching 60 to 80 kmph over Bihar today.

IMD predicted heavy rainfall over Kerala, Lakshadweep, South Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next two to three days.

The weather agency has further predicted thunderstorms and lightning conditions over Odisha, Rayalaseema, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, till tomorrow. Meanwhile, hot and humid weather very likely to prevail at isolated places over Konkan and Goa.
