The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, and Tamil Nadu tomorrow. The IMD also predicted heavy rainfall over Puducherry, Karaikal, Konkan, Goa, Lakshadweep, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, and South Interior Karnataka tomorrow as well. Talking to Akashvani News senior IMD scientist RK Jenamani, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal are likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall, while rainfall activity over Delhi NCR is likely to reduce from tomorrow.
