Leading human rights organisations have said that four civilians, including a woman, have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan. The Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department Paank strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Khadija Baloch, a female nursing student.
The Baloch Voice for Justice said, this incident reflects a continuing pattern in which Baloch women are increasingly subjected to enforced disappearances, intimidation, and unlawful detention, undermining their fundamental rights and security. Paank also revealed that Balochi writer Daad Shah was forcibly disappeared for the second time yesterday.
Highlighting the atrocities against civilians across Balochistan, Paank also mentioned that a shopkeeper Noman Baloch, resident of the Turbat region in the Kech district, was forcibly disappeared from his home on 18th April, along with his brother Ikram. The human rights organisations have urged international human rights bodies to take urgent note of the dire situation in Balochistan.
