The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heat wave conditions over Gangetic West Bengal for tomorrow. The Met department said that heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. According to IMD, hot and humid weather is expected over coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Meanwhile, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Odisha are expected to experience warm night conditions for the next two to three days.
IMD has predicted thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty winds over Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, Parts of North East, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till tomorrow. The weather agency also predicted thunderstorm accompanied by hailstorms over Madhya Maharashtra and North Interior Karnataka till tomorrow.
