The Ministry of Education will organise Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp 2026 in all schools across the country during summer vacation.
In a social media post the Ministry said that the week-long camp will provide students an engaging opportunity to learn basic communication skills in various Indian languages through interactive activities focused on self-introduction, vocabulary building, real-life conversations and cultural appreciation.
The Ministry added that this year the initiative also introduces Indian Sign Language (ISL) as a special highlight, reinforcing the vision of inclusive and equitable education envisioned in the National Education Policy 2020.
The initiative was launched by Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan last year.
