Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed grief over the loss of lives caused by the heavy rains and storms that have affected Uttar Pradesh and several other parts of the country over the past few days. In a social media post, Mr Singh conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He noted that the Central Government is extending every possible assistance to the states impacted by the adverse weather conditions.
