In Chhattisgarh, Mahasamund Police have taken action against illegal narcotics trafficking. The police seized more than 912 kilograms of Ganja, which was being transported from Odisha to Uttar Pradesh, during a blockade in the Basna area. The estimated value of the seized contraband is around four and a half crore rupees. One inter-state smuggler has been arrested in connection.
