केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने ग्रीनफील्ड एक्सप्रेसवे और यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे को कनेक्ट करने वाले इंटरचेंज निर्माण पर आयोजित एक पेड़ मां के नाम 2.0 अभियान की शुरुआत की। सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कहा है कि परिवहन विभाग, पारिस्थितिकी और पर्यावरण के प्रति अधिक जिम्मेदारी वहन करता है, क्योंकि देश में 40 प्रतिशत प्रदूषण सीधे तौर पर परिवहन क्षेत्र के कारण है। एक पेड़ मां के नाम के दूसरे चरण के तहत, फरीदाबाद-नोएडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट कॉरिडोर पर पौधरोपण अभियान के दौरान एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि एक पेड़ मां के नाम धरती माता के प्रति एक कर्तव्यपरायण पहल है और यह नागरिकों की सांस्कृतिक और नैतिक जिम्मेदारी भी है। श्री गडकरी ने बांस के उपयोग पर भी जोर दिया और इसे बहुउद्देशीय घास बताया जिसका उपयोग विभिन्न प्रकार के उत्पादों के विनिर्माण में किया जा सकता है। भारत का ऑटोमोबाइल उद्योग जापान को पीछे छोड़कर दुनिया का तीसरा सबसे बड़ा उद्योग बन गया है। इस उद्योग ने लगभग साढ़े चार करोड़ युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर पैदा किए हैं और यह निर्यात में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देता है।

The annual 38 day Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra that commenced on 3rd of this month, is going on smoothly and seamlessly, from twin routes of Nunwan Pahalgam Base Camp in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and Baltal Base Camp in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The Holy cave is known for the ice stalagmite that forms within, resembling a Shivlinga. The Cave is situated at an altitude of 12, 756 feet nestled in the Himalayas in Kashmir region.

In the ever expanding bilateral relationship between India and Namibia, capacity building of Namibian youths has been one of the major areas of cooperation. The relationship between India and Namibia entered a new phase of transformation with the establishment of the India-Namibia Centre of Excellence in Information Technology in 2019. Set up at the Namibia University of Science and Technology in Windhoek, the centre showcases India’s strength in Information Communication Technology and also the strong commitment for the capacity building in Namibia. Driven by the Government of India, this initiative aimed to extend the reach of ICT education beyond national borders, fostering digital empowerment among Namibian youths. At the heart of this Centre lies PARAM !Arub, a state-of-the-art supercomputer gifted by India to Namibia. This high-performance computing platform powers advanced research in big data, AI, and scientific simulations.
For the last six years, the center has been imparting advanced computing training to Namibian youths.
INCEIT isn’t just about establishing IT infrastructure – it’s about capacity building and human empowerment in Namibia where Indian experts and Namibian master trainers work together to upskill students and professionals in advance computer technology. हिमाचल प्रदेश में पर्यटन गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने और अनछुए पर्यटक स्थलों को छूने के उद्देश्य से प्रदेश सरकार निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। पर्यटन गतिविधियों से स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को लाभ पहुंचे और रोजगार के अनेकों साधन सृजित हो इसके लिए सरकार नई-नई योजनाओं को भी शुरू कर रही है। इसी कड़ी में जनजातीय लाहौल-स्पीति के काजा में स्टार गेजिंग सुविधा शुरू की गई है।
पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में हिमाचल राष्ट्रीय ही नहीं बल्कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अहम स्थान रखता है। यहां घूमने आने वाले पर्यटकों को राज्य की सुंदरता निहारने के साथ-साथ बेहतर सुविधाएं और स्वच्छ वातावरण मिले इसके लिए राज्य सरकार सदैव प्रयासरत है। जनजातीय क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लाहौल स्पीति जिला के काजा में स्टार गेजिंग सुविधा की शुरूआत की गई है और ये पहल राज्य को एस्ट्रो-टूरिज्म डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में स्थापित करेगी। क्षेत्र में आने वाले पर्यटक अब दूरबीनों के माध्यम से स्टार गेजिंग कर सकेंगे। प्रदेश सरकार की इस अभिनव पहल से स्पीति एस्ट्रो-टूरिज्म गतंव्य के रूप में स्थापित होगा और इस प्रयास से विज्ञान को संस्कृति के साथ एकीकृत किया गया है। इस परियोजना का लाभ उठाने के लिए स्थानीय होम-स्टे और होटल मालिकों को शामिल करने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं तथा काजा सहित लांगजा व रंगरिक क्षेत्रों के लोग भी इस सुविधा का लाभ उठाने के लिए आगे आ रहे हैं। इन लोगों को दूरबीन संबंधी प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाएगा। स्पीति का स्वच्छ वातावरण, न्यूनतम प्रकाश प्रदूषण और ऊंचाई की स्पष्टता का उपयोग खगोल पर्यटन व स्टार गेजिंग गतिविधियों के लिए सर्वाेत्तम है। पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में इस नए अध्याय की शुरूआत से जहां स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिलेगी वहीं पर्यटकों के लिए भी ये पहल आकर्षण का केन्द्र बनेगी। निश्चित तौर पर राज्य सरकार की यह रणनीतिक पहल विशेष रूप से स्पीति जैसे दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में स्थानीय भागीदारी को प्रोत्साहित करेगी और इससे स्थानीय लोगों को भी स्वरोजगार के अधिक से अधिक अवसर भी उपलब्ध होंगे। परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी शिमला से मैं रितेश कपूर।

Benchmark domestic equity indices today ended with modest gains, supported by sharp recovery during the last half an hour of trade. Both the indices remained range-bound for most of the session, as investors awaited clarity on the US-India trade deal. The 30-share index at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, rose 270 points, over 0.3 per cent to close at 83 thousand 713. The National Stock Exchange Nifty-50 added 61 points, over 0.2 per cent to settle at 25 thousand 523. In the global crude oil market, Brent Crude was trading 0.3 per cent down at 69 dollars and 37 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude was also trading half per cent down at 67 dollars and 59 cents per barrel, when reports last came in. In the Indian bullion market, 24-karat gold was trading down at 97,150 rupees per 10 grams, while silver 999 fine was also trading down at 1,08,290 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.

The Indian film actor and comedien best known for his potrayal as Soorma Bhopali in 1975 action drama SHOLAY has his death anniversary today.
Jagdeep started his film career as a child artist extra in B. R. Chopra’s Afsana, then went on to do films as a child artist in many other films.
He was launched as a leading man by AVM in a few films and went on to do a few more films as a leading man. He established himself as a comedian since the movie Brahmachari. Though we are more aware of the comedy dialogues by him in many of his movies but One of the hit songs picturised on him is from the movie Punarmilan…

Starting her career as a child artiste (Baby Neetu/Sonia) in Bollywood movies and went on to become a full-fledged actress in the Indian film industry.
She rose to prominence with roles in the crime drama film Deewaar (1975), the thriller film Khel Khel Mein (1975), the musical film Kabhi Kabhie (1976), the masala film Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) and the fantasy film Dharam Veer (1977). Her performances in the crime drama film Parvarish (1977), the social drama Kaala Patthar (1979) and the musical film Yaarana (1981) were praised, and for Kaala Patthar, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
One of the most acclaimed films of that time and continues to be remembered today for its soundtrack by Khayyam and Sahir Ludhianvi.

Sourav Chandidas Ganguly (born 8 July 1972), One of the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team Saurabh Ganguly lovingly called DADA has his birthday today. Nobody can argue about him being one of the greatest one-day batsmen of all time…….a batsman who combined grace with surgical precision in his strokeplay.
When he took over the captaincy after the match-fixing exposes in 2000, he quickly proved to be a tough, intuitive and uncompromising leader. Under his stewardship India started winning Test matches away, and put together a splendid streak that took them all the way to the World Cup final in 2003, the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2004 Asia Cup.
Ganguly was awarded Padma Shri in 2004. He was elected as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2019.
