Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in Brasilia yesterday. Speaking at a joint press conference alongside the Brazilian President, Mr Modi said that India and Brazil have agreed to raise bilateral trade to 20 billion US Dollars over the next five years. Mr Modi said, this target is not difficult to achieve if two countries work together like one team.
Prime Minister said, we want India-Brazil relations to be as colourful as carnival, as passionate as football. He said that both sides will also work to expand the India-MERCOSUR Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA). Mr Modi said, India and Brazil will work to expand cooperation in trade, clean energy, defence, Artificial Intelligence, and digital public infrastructure.
PM Modi said, our thinking on the fight against terrorism is aligned – zero tolerance and zero double standards. He said, our clear stance is that there is no place for double standards on terrorism.

In the final leg of his five-nation visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Windhoek in Namibia today at the invitation of Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. This will be the first visit of PM Modi to the country, and the third ever Prime Ministerial visit from India to Namibia, which is coming after nearly three decades. On arrival, PM will be accorded a ceremonial welcome, which will be followed by the delegation-level talks between the two countries to deepen the economic partnership.
Several MoUs on expanding cooperation in various critical areas such as energy security, health and pharma are expected to be exchanged between the two countries. During the visit, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will be conferred the highest civilian award of Namibia. The PM will also pay homage to the Founding Father and first President of Namibia, Late Dr. Sam Nujoma. Later in a day Mr. Modi is scheduled to deliver an address at the Parliament of Namibia.

दिल्ली सरकार ने सरकारी स्कूलों में स्मार्ट क्लासरूम के निर्माण के लिए 900 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की मंज़ूरी दी है। दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के क्रियान्वयन को भी मंजूरी दी गई है।
दिल्ली के शिक्षा मंत्री आशीष सूद ने बताया कि व्यापक डिजिटल क्लासरूम विस्तार योजना के अंतर्गत 75 मुख्यमंत्री श्री विद्यालयों में दो हजार 446 स्मार्ट ब्लैकबोर्ड लगाए जाएंगे। कक्षा 9 से 12 तक के लिए 18 हजार नौ सौ 66 अतिरिक्त स्मार्ट क्लासरूम बनाने को भी मंजूरी दी गई है। इससे 2029-30 तक दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों में स्मार्ट क्लासरूम की संख्या 21 हजार से अधिक हो जाएगी।

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has amended its earlier directive to enforce a phased ban on refuelling End-of-Life vehicles. In a statement, The CAQM said that All End of Life vehicles will be denied fueling from 1st November, 2025 in Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, and Sonipat. The ban will be extend to the remaining NCR districts from 1st April, 2026. The new implementation timeline for Delhi and five high-density NCR districts came after the Delhi government raised some operational concerns and requested the the authority to review it.

The strategic collaboration between HMIL, IIT Madras and Guidance Tamilnadu was signed in January 2024. The combined commitment of 100 Crore Rupees investment is to develop state of the art green hydrogen technology and its ecosystem. The funding project cost is 180 Crores for the IIT Madras Discovery Satellite Campus at Thaiyur which is to be operational next year. The project was unveiled on Tuesday in Chennai. This milestone marks the next phase in HMILs 100 Crore commitment for green hydrogen innovation in India. The Hyundai Motor India Foundation as part of its CSR initiatives underscores its dedication to advancing clean energy and fostering sustainable innovation. IIT Madras will house this Centre sprawling 65 thousand sq.ft area at its discovery campus featuring advanced computational and experimental labs. The development of digital twins of hydrogen infrastructure alongwith customised test rigs and fabrication lines. The Director of the Institute Prof.V.Kamakoti said that the Centre will work with all the stakeholders of the hydrogen sector at the global level including academia, national R&D labs, industries and policy makers. He asserted that this will make India Atmanirbhar Bharat in the hydrogen sector and will contribute to sustainability and provide a boost to the Nation’s decarbonisation initiatives that target Net Zero by 2070. The facility will also drive Research and development activities and demonstration activities to accelerate readiness and adoption across the green hydrogen value chain, making the Hyundai HTWO innovation centre a National hub for cost effective, scalable hydrogen innovation.

Amid rising demand for English medium, the School Education Department has approved bilingual sections in 4,134 government schools across Karnataka. In Bengaluru, 1,103 of 1,465 schools in North and South zones have received permission. Started in 2019-20, English-medium sections now exist in 2,405 schools. For 2024-25, 2,000 more schools have been added. Guest teachers will be appointed and trained before classes begin.

Panic prevailed at four prominent places in Hyderabad, including Raj Bhavan, after a bomb threat mail was received by the authorities in the early hours yesterday. An email was sent to the official IDs of the Chief Judge, City Civil Courts, Gymkhana Club Hyderabad, Raj Bhavan and Judges Chambers, claiming that explosives were planted on their premises. The sender, named ‘Abdia Abdulla’, claimed that explosives would detonate soon after courts began their operations. The court authorities noticed the mail only around noon and immediately informed the local police. Following the alert, the local police and bomb squad reached these locations and conducted extensive checks for any explosive substances. All the judges, advocates and staff vacated the premises. The police alerted the citizens living nearby. Authorities, staff and citizens heaved a sigh of relief when police confirmed that there was no bomb after extensive checks at all locations. Investigation is on.

“स्वतंत्रता-पूर्व भारत में संसदीय व्यवस्थाएं और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में भारतीय सदस्यों की भूमिका” विषय पर दिल्ली विधान सभा परिसर में कल एक विशेष शैक्षणिक संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस संगोष्ठी का उद्देश्य 1911 से 1946 तक विदेशी शासन काल भारत में संसदीय संस्थाओं के विकास की पुनर्समीक्षा करना तथा उन भारतीय विधायकों के योगदान को रेखांकित करना है जिन्होंने राष्ट्र की स्वतंत्रता की दिशा में विधायी मंचों का उपयोग किया।
हज समिति ने हज 2026 के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। हज यात्री आधिकारिक हज पोर्टल या हज सुविधा मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से अपना आवदेन जमा कर सकते हैं। अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा है कि ऑनलाइन आवेदन विंडो 31 जुलाई तक खुली रहेगी। आवेदक के पास आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि या उससे पहले जारी किया गया भारतीय पासपोर्ट होना अनिवार्य है, और वह कम से कम 31 दिसंबर 2026 तक वैध होना चाहिए।
वहीं, दिल्ली हज कमेटी की अध्यक्ष कौसर जहां ने कहा है कि अगर लोगों को इस संबंध में किसी भी तरह की दिक्कत हो तो वे राजधानी के तुर्कमान गेट स्थित दिल्ली हज कमेटी के कार्यालय में आ सकते हैं।
दिल्ली के विकास मंत्री कपिल मिश्रा ने कल गैस पाइप लाइन सुविधाओं के लिए दिल्ली सचिवालय में इंद्रप्रस्थ गैस एजेंसी के अधिकारियों के साथ उच्च स्तरीय बैठक की। बैठक में विकास मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को करावल नगर में गैस परियोजना को जल्द से जल्द लागू करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पाइप नेचुरल गैस के जरिये करावल नगर में प्रत्येक घर तक स्वच्छ और प्रभावी ऊर्जा की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित की जा सकेगी।
उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कल नई दिल्ली स्थित उत्तराखंड निवास परिसर में ‘हाउस ऑफ हिमालयाज’ के आउटलेट का उद्घाटन किया। यह आउटलेट राजधानी में उत्तराखंड की पारंपरिक विरासत और जैविक उत्पादों को संगठित रूप में पेश करने का माध्यम है। इस अवसर पर श्री धामी ने कहा कि इससे न केवल उत्तराखंड की समृद्ध लोक संस्कृति देश भर में पहुंचेगी, बल्कि स्थानीय उत्पादों को भी नए बाजार मिलेंगे।

महाराष्ट्र विधानमंडल के दोनों सदनों ने भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश भूषण रामकृष्ण गवई के शीर्ष पद पर पदोन्नत होने पर सर्वसम्मति से बधाई प्रस्ताव को अपनाया। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर ने विधानसभा में बधाई प्रस्ताव पेश करते हुए कहा कि न्यायमूर्ति गवई की सीजेआई के रूप में नियुक्ति गर्व की बात है। इसी तरह का बधाई प्रस्ताव बाद में राज्य विधान परिषद में इसके अध्यक्ष राम शिंदे द्वारा पेश किया गया।
महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री अजीत पवार ने नागरिकों से ‘विकसित महाराष्ट्र @2047 के लिए विज़न दस्तावेज़’ के निर्माण के लिए अपने सुझाव देने का आग्रह किया है। श्री पवार ने कल विधानमंडल के दोनों सदनों को संबोधित करते हुए सभी विधायकों, संभागीय आयुक्तों, जिला कलेक्टरों और जिला परिषद के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारियों से नागरिकों को ‘विकसित महाराष्ट्र-2047’ सर्वेक्षण में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने का आग्रह किया।
महाराष्ट्र के कौशल विकास विभाग और बंदरगाह विभाग ने बंदरगाहों और रसद क्षेत्र के लिए कुशल जनशक्ति प्रदान करने के लिए अटल सॉल्यूशंस के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस समझौते के तहत, नीदरलैंड, डेनमार्क और पोलैंड की विदेशी ऋण संस्थाएं मुंबई, पुणे, नागपुर, सिंधुदुर्ग, बारामती और नासिक में छह औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों – आईटीआई के आधुनिकीकरण के लिए 120 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करेंगी।
