ब्राजील के रियो द जेनेरियो में ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के घोषणा-पत्र में 22 अप्रैल के पहलगाम आतंकी हमले की कड़ी निंदा की गई है। इस हमले में 26 लोग मारे गए थे। ब्रिक्स नेताओं ने सीमा पार से आतंकवाद, आतंकवाद को संरक्षण और आतंकी गतिविधियों के लिए वित्त-पोषण सहित हर प्रकार के आतंकवाद से निपटने की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। घोषणा-पत्र में आतंकवाद को कतई बर्दाश्त न करने की नीति सुनिश्चित करने और इससे निपटने में दोहरे मानदंड को खारिज करने का आग्रह किया गया है।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that there should be no hesitation in imposing sanctions against terrorists. He said, victims and supporters of terrorism can not be weighed on the same scale. Addressing the the session on Peace and Security at the BRICS Summit in Brazil, Mr Modi said, terrorism has emerged as the most serious challenge to the humanity today. He said, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April was a direct attack on the soul, identity and dignity of India. The Prime Minister said, if any country supports terrorism directly or indirectly, it will have to to pay the price for it. He said, BRICS member countries must speak out as a group in one voice against terrorism and its supporters. Mr Modi said, condemnation of terrorism must be our principle not a mere convenience. He said, India firmly believes that no matter how difficult the circumstances the path of peace is the only option for the welfare of humanity. The Prime Minister said, war and violence has no place for us. He said, the development of humanity is possible only in a peaceful and secure environment. Mr Modi said, BRICS has a very important role in fullfilling this objective.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today participated in the Outreach Session on ‘Strengthening Multilateralism, Economic-Financial Affairs and Artificial Intelligence’, along with BRICS members, partners and outreach invitees, at the 17th BRICS Summit. In his address, Mr Modi emphasized BRICS as a catalyst for global cooperation and a multipolar world. He urged for demand driven approach and long term financial sustainability in NDB led projects. The Prime Minister highlighted India’s initiatives in agri-biotech, digital education access, and called for a BRICS Science and Research Repository. On AI, he stressed on responsible governance and invited the BRICS partners for the “AI Impact Summit” that India will be hosting next year.

चुनाव आयोग ने कहा है कि बिहार में मतदाता सूची के विशेष पुनरीक्षण का कार्य मतदाताओं के सक्रिय सहयोग से सुचारू रूप से चल रहा है। सभी पात्र मतदाताओं को फॉर्म उपलब्ध करा दिए गए हैं।अभी तक एक करोड़ 69 लाख से अधिक गणना फॉर्म प्राप्त हो चुके हैं। फॉर्म अपलोड करने का काम भी शुरू हो गया है। चुनाव आयोग ने बताया कि विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण 24 जून को जारी निर्देशों के अनुसार एक अगस्त को जारी होने वाली मतदाता सूची के प्रारूप में उन व्यक्तियों के नाम होंगे जिनके गणना फॉर्म प्राप्त हुए हैं।

The flash floods, which hit Friday, have severely impacted the Texas Hill Country, with Kerr County, home to the camp, suffering the highest casualties.

खेलों में कल का दिन भारत के लिए स्वर्णिम रहा। जहां एक ओर विश्व मुक्केबाजी में साक्षी, जसमीन और नुपुर ने अपने-अपने वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। वहीं, पैरा तीरंदाजी में भी भारत के हरविंदर सिंह को स्वर्ण पदक हासिल हुआ लेकिन भारत के क्रिकेट प्रेमियों को कल का दिन कभी नहीं भूलेगा क्योंकि 1967 के बाद भारत ने बंर्मिंघम में पहली बार तिरंगा लहराया जब कैप्टन शुभमन की कप्तानी में भारत ने अंग्रेजों से दूसरा क्रिकेट टैस्ट मैच 336 रन से जीत लिया।
कल कई रिकॉर्ड बने और शुभमन गिल को इस टैस्ट मैच में कुल 430 रन बनाने के लिए प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच चुना गया। भारत की जीत पर शुभमन गिल ने कहा।

At the Asian Para-Archery Championships in Beijing, Harvinder Singh, World No. 1 and Paralympic champion, won two gold medals yesterday, helping India secure second place in the medal standings behind China.
India finished with three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals.
Harvinder Singh set a new competition record of 663 points in the recurve men’s qualifying round. He won his first gold in the recurve open mixed team event with teammate Bhawna, and followed it up with another gold in the recurve men’s open title, completing a successful three-medal haul.
India’s women’s compound team, Sheetal Devi and Jyoti, also won gold by defeating China’s Lu Zhang and Jing Zhao.

Five persons were injured in this incident and they are under treatment at various hospitals .

The Yellow Line, a vital 19-km Namma Metro corridor from R.V. Road to Bommasandra via key junctions like Silk Board—was initially slated for a 2021 launch. However, repeated delays including the latest missed June 2025 deadline, have sparked mounting commuter frustration.
Residents point to significant time and cost savings once the line becomes operational.
On saturday, hundreds of citizens, led by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, staged a protest outside Lalbagh Main Gate, demanding the line’s immediate opening and accountability from BMRCL.
Connecting major employment hubs, the Yellow Line is expected to significantly ease congestion along some of the city’s most traffic-prone stretches.

In a step towards realizing the dream of thousands of urban poor and middle-class families to own a home, the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) has issued a preliminary notification for acquiring 315 acres at BM Kaval village near Kengeri.
This large-scale residential project aims to provide houses and plots for the houseless and needy. The notification was issued in the last week of June.
Strategically located off Mysuru Road and well-connected via NICE Road and the extended Purple Line of Namma Metro, BM Kaval (Badamanavarthekaval) has long held untapped urban potential.
With this initiative, the area is poised to become a hub for EWS, LIG, and MIG housing, supported by strong infrastructure.
Under the Land Acquisition Act, landowners and stakeholders have 60 days to file objections or suggestions.

In Telangana, a tribal rights organisation named Tudum Debba, has launched a protest movement against Government Order, for creation of a tiger corridor—designated as Kumaram Bheem Tiger Conservation Reserve—linking Maharashtra’s Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve with Telangana’s Kawal Tiger Reserve.
The organisation has initiated awareness meetings in villages from Sunday and will continue till July 13th.
Godam Ganesh, a leader of Tudum Debba, said the order will affect 339 tribal villages across the Asifabad and Kagaznagar divisions of Asifabad district in the State.
Meanwhile, with incidents of elephants, leopards and other wild animals straying into villages increasing across the State, the Forest Department has begun conducting special training sessions on tranquiliser gun operations for its frontline staff. A forest official said, while most staff had basic training during their induction, these refresher courses are meant to hone operational skills.

भारतीय मौसम विभाग के कोलकाता स्थित अलीपुर मौसम कार्यालय ने सोमवार को पश्चिम बंगाल के कुछ जिलों में भारी बारिश का अनुमान लगाया है। उत्तर बंगाल के जिलों में छिटपुट हल्की से मध्यम बारिश होने की संभावना है। पश्चिम बंगाल के गंगा क्षेत्र और आसपास के इलाकों में बना कम दबाव का क्षेत्र आने वाले दो-तीन दिनों में उत्तर-पश्चिमी झारखंड और उत्तरी छत्तीसगढ़ की ओर बढ़ सकता है। जिसके कारण दक्षिण और उत्तर बंगाल के जिलों में बारिश होने की संभावना है।

Today death anniversary of Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle he was a British writer and physician. He created the character Sherlock Holmes in 1887 for A Study in Scarlet, the first of four novels and fifty-six short stories about Holmes and Dr. Watson. The Sherlock Holmes stories are milestones in the field of crime fiction.
Doyle was a prolific writer. In addition to the Holmes stories, his works include fantasy and science fiction stories about Professor Challenger, and humorous stories about the Napoleonic soldier Brigadier Gerard, as well as plays, romances, poetry, non-fiction, and historical novels.

Today is brithday of Sir Richard Starkey known professionally as Ringo Starr, is an English musician, songwriter and actor who achieved international fame as the drummer for the Beatles. Starr occasionally sang lead vocals with the group, usually for one song on each album, including “Yellow Submarine” and “With a Little Help from My Friends”. He also wrote and sang the Beatles songs “Don’t Pass Me By” and “Octopus’s Garden”, and is credited as a co-writer of four others.
