भारतीय वायु सेना दिवस
आज भारतीय वायु सेना का ब्यानवा स्थापना दिवस है। हर साल 8 अक्तूबर को ये दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन भारतीय वायुसेना के गौरवशाली इतिहास (Glorious History) और देश की सुरक्षा में इसके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान का प्रतीक है। 8 अक्टूबर 1932 को भारतीय वायुसेना की स्थापना हुई थी और तब से यह दिन भारतीय सैन्य इतिहास में एक महत्वपूर्ण तिथि के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है।
वायुसेना दिवस का मुख्य उद्देश्य भारतीय वायुसेना की ताकत, संकल्प को प्रदर्शित करना है। भारतीय वायुसेना ने विभिन्न युद्धों और ऑपरेशनों में अपनी कुशलता और वीरता का परिचय दिया है, जिसमें 1965 और 1971 के युद्ध और 1999 का कारगिल युद्ध शामिल हैं।
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. Its primary mission is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during armed conflicts. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire which honoured India’s aviation service during World War II with the prefix Royal. After India gained independence from United Kingdom in 1947, the name Royal Indian Air Force was kept and served in the name of the Dominion of India. With the transition to a republic in 1950, the prefix Royal was removed.
Since 1950, the IAF has been involved in four wars with neighbouring Pakistan. Other major operations undertaken by the IAF include Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot, Operation Cactus and Operation Poomalai. The IAF’s mission expands beyond engagement with hostile forces, with the IAF participating in United Nations peacekeeping missions.
The President of India holds the rank of Supreme Commander of the IAF.

भारतीय वायुसेना दिवस के अवसर पर भारतीय वायुसेना के अधिकारियों और जवानों को उनके साहस, वीरता और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा के लिए सम्मानित किया जाता है। उन्हें विभिन्न पदक और सम्मान दिए जाते हैं, जिनमें परम विशिष्ट सेवा पदक, अति विशिष्ट सेवा पदक और युद्ध सेवा पदक शामिल हैं।
वहीं, इस अवसर पर कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं और इस वायुसेना दिवस पर भी इसी तरह के प्रेग्राम किए जा रहे हैं। इनमें से एक है वायु वीर विजेता कार रैली। आज से लद्दाख के थोइस से सात हजार किलोमीटर लंबी वायु वीर विजेता कार रैली निकाली जाएगी। इस कार रैली का समापन 29 अक्तूबर को अरूणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग पहुंचने के साथ होगा।

संशो. मतगणना
जम्मू-कश्मीर और हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनाव की मतगणना आज सुबह आठ बजे शुरू होगी। दोपहर तक परिणाम मिलने लगेंगे। पहले डाक मतपत्रों की गिनती होगी। निर्वाचन आयोग ने सुचारू मतगणना के लिए व्यापक प्रबंध किये हैं। आयोग की वेबसाइट www.eci.gov.in. पर रुझान और परिणाम देने की व्यवस्था की गई है। मतगणना केन्द्रों पर तीन स्तर की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था है।
जम्मू-कश्मीर में आठ सौ 73 उम्मीदवारों के राजनीतिक भाग्य का फैसला होगा। केन्द्र शासित प्रदेश में 28 मतगणना केन्द्र बनाए गये हैं। दस मतगणना केन्द्र कश्मीर में – श्रीनगर, बडगाम, गांदरबल, बांदीपोरा, बारामुला, कुपवाडा, शोपियां, कुलगाम, पुलवामा और अनंतनाग में होंगे।
जम्मू-कश्मीर की 90 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए तीन चरणों में- पिछले महीने की 18 और 25 तारीख तथा इस महीने की एक तारीख को मतदान हुआ था।
हरियाणा में वोटों की गिनती के लिए 22 जिलों में 90 मतगणना केन्द्र बनाए गए हैं। हरियाणा की 90 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए पांच अक्तूबर को मतदान हुआ था।
NADDA-TB INITIATIVES
Union Health Minister J P Nadda yesterday announced several key initiatives aimed at enhancing nutrition support for Tuberculosis (TB) patients and their household contacts. Underscoring India’s resolute commitment to end TB, Mr Nadda informed that the monthly nutrition support under Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana has been doubled from the existing 500 rupees to 1000 rupees for all TB patients during the period of treatment. He said that the government has also decided to introduce energy dense nutrition supplementation for all patients with BMI less than 18.5.
CBDT- INCOME TAX
The Central Board of Direct Taxes has formed an internal committee to oversee a comprehensive review of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Ministry of Finance said that the goal of this committee is to make the Act concise, clear, and easy to understand, which will reduce disputes, litigation, and provide greater tax certainty to taxpayers. The Ministry also invited suggestions on the Income Tax e-filing portal. The suggestions are invited under four categories that are Simplification of Language, Litigation Reduction, Compliance Reduction, and Redundant/Obsolete Provisions.
राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु आज नई दिल्ली में वर्ष 2022 के लिए 70वें राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार प्रदान करेंगी। इस अवसर पर अभिनेता मिथुन चक्रवर्ती को सिनेमा के सर्वोच्च सम्मान दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा। ऋषभ शेट्टी को कन्नड़ फिल्म कंतारा के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा। नित्या मेनन को तमिल फिल्म तिरुचित्राम्बलम के लिए और मानसी पारेख को गुजराती फिल्म कच्छ एक्सप्रेस के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेत्री का पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा।

महिला क्रिकेट
आईसीसी महिला टी-ट्वेंटी क्रिकेट विश्वकप में आज शाम ऑस्ट्रेलिया का मुकाबला न्यूज़ीलैंड से होगा। ग्रुप-ए का यह मैच, शारजाह क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में भारतीय समयानुसार शाम साढे़ सात बजे से शुरू होगा। दोनों टीमों ने प्रतियोगिता में अपने शुरुआती मैच जीते हैं।

CHENNAI METRO
The Indian Airforce will be celebrating its 92 nd anniversary at the Indian Airforce Station Tambaram today. This is for the first time that the grand event is happening at Chennai. The day will be marked with a flypast and a parade. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh will be the Chief guest for the day. The Airforce Station Tambaram is involved in training pilots as qualified flying instructors and Mechanical Training Institute for Airmen. It was started as Royal Airforce Station in the Madras Presidency during the British regime.
दिल्ली-टमाटर
राजधानी दिल्ली के खुदरा बाजार में टमाटर के लगातार बढते दाम पर लगाम लगाने के लिए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय सहकारी उपभोक्ता महासंघ (एनसीसीएफ) ने मंडियों से सीधे खरीद कर 65 रूपये प्रति किलोग्राम की रियायती दर पर मोबाइल वैन के माध्यम से टमाटर की बिक्री करने की शुरूआत की है। इस तरह से उपभोक्तओं को लाभ मिलने के साथ टमाटर के बढते दाम को काबू करने में मदद मिलेगी।
BENGALURU METRO
The Karnataka state Government has deferred its decision on 28 applications seeking mining rights within 10 kms radius of Kappatagudda hillock in Gadag in North Karnataka. A meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru yesterday has kept the 28 mining applications in abeyance. Briefing the media persons after the meeting, the Forest Minister Eeshwar Khandre informed that the Chief Minister has decided not only to defer the decision on 28 mining applications but has also asked the Forest department to issue notices to illegal mines operating in the one Kilometer radius of Kappatagudda wildlife sanctuary. The Chief Minister has directed the officials to inspect the area around Kappadagudda wildlife sanctuary and submit a status report.

मुंबई अंडरग्राउंड मैट्रो के पहले चरण के तहत कल से आरे कोलोनी से बांद्रा कुर्ला कॉम्प्लेक्स के लिए मैट्रो सेवा शुरू हो गई है। आरे और बीकेसी के बीच 12 दशमलव उन्हत्तर किलोमीटर का ये खंड 33 दशमलव 5 किलोमीटर की कोलाबा-सीप्ज़-आरे मेट्रो लाइन 3 का हिस्सा है। इस मेट्रो की नियमित सेवाएं सप्ताह के बाकी दिनों में सुबह 6.30 बजे से रात 10:30 बजे तक और रविवार को सुबह 8.30 बजे से रात 10.30 बजे तक उपलब्ध होंगी। टिकट नेशनल कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड (एनसीएमसी), मुंबई मेट्रो 3 मोबाइल ऐप और टिकट वेंडिंग मशीनों का उपयोग करके खरीदे जा सकते हैं।
नेशनल हाई स्पीड रेल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड – एनएचएसआरसीएल ने मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन परियोजना के लिए ट्रैक के डिजाइन, और निर्माण तथा इससे संबंधित दूसरे कार्यों के लिए भारतीय और जापानी कंपनियों से बोलियां आमंत्रित की हैं। इसमें मुंबई के बीकेसी स्टेशन और गुजरात के ज़ारोली गांव के बीच 314 किलोमीटर लंबे ट्रैक का निर्माण शामिल होगा। बोलियां 31 जनवरी 2025 तक जमा की जा सकती हैं, टेंडर खोलने की तारीख 3 फरवरी 2025 तय की गई है। इस बारे में अधिक जानकारी एनएचएसआरसीएल की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट www.nhsrcl.in पर उपलब्ध है।
HYDERABAD METRO
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has urged the Centre to release over 11 thousand 713 crore rupees for restoration and repairs of damaged infrastructure due to recent heavy rains and floods in the state. He also urged the centre to include Hyderabad’s Comprehensive Sewerage Master Plan under AMRUT 2.0 . He further requested the centre to undertake the Metro Rail Phase 2 project on a 50:50 joint venture basis between the Centre and State. Mr Reddy called on union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi yesterday and informed that 37 people had lost their lives, more than one lakh cattle and other domestic animals died during heavy rains. Crops have been damaged in over 4 lakh 16 thousand acres besides huge damage to infrastructure.
The Chief Minister also called on Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar and requested for inclusion of Comprehensive Sewerage Master Plan (CSMP) of Hyderabad under AMRUT 2.0.

DEATH ANNIVERSARY
Dhanpat Rai Srivastava (31 July 1880 – 8 October 1936), better known as Munshi Premchand based on his pen name Premchand was an Indian writer famous for his modern Hindustani literature.
Premchand was a pioneer of Hindi and Urdu social fiction. He was one of the first authors to write about caste hierarchies and the plights of women and labourers prevalent in the society of the late 1880s.He is one of the most celebrated writers of the Indian subcontinent, and is regarded as one of the foremost Hindi writers of the early twentieth century.
उन्होंने सेवासदन, प्रेमाश्रम, रंगभूमि, निर्मला, गबन, कर्मभूमि, गोदान आदि लगभग डेढ़ दर्जन उपन्यास तथा कफन, पूस की रात, पंच परमेश्वर, बड़े घर की बेटी, बूढ़ी काकी, दो बैलों की कथा आदि तीन सौ से अधिक कहानियाँ लिखीं। प्रेमचंद का कहानी साहित्य इतना विशाल और व्यापक है कि इसमें एक पूरा युग समा गया है। इनकी कहानियों में कमज़ोरों पर अत्याचर की झलक मिलती है। अपनी कहानियों के बारे में वो कहते थे कि मेरी कहानियां घटनाओं से प्रेरित होती हैं लेकिन कोई घटना तब तक कहानी नहीं बनती जब तक कि उससे कोई मनोवैज्ञानिक सत्य प्रकट ना हो। उनकी कहानी कफन इसी कथन को दिखाती है। इस कहानी के माध्यम से सामाज के प्रति प्रेमचंद का विद्रोह भी दिखाई देता है।
इस कहानी की कुछ पक्तियां मैं आपसे साझा करना चाहूंगी-
घीसू खड़ा हो गया और जैसे उल्लास की लहरों में तैरता हुआ बोला, “हाँ, बेटा बैकुण्ठ में जाएगी। किसी को सताया नहीं, किसी को दबाया नहीं। मरते-मरते हमारी ज़िन्दगी की सबसे बड़ी लालसा पूरी कर गयी। वह ना बैकुण्ठ में जाएगी तो क्या ये मोटे मोटे लोग जाएंगे जो गरीबों को दोनों हाथों से लूटते हैं।
महाजनी सभ्यता उनका अंतिम निबन्ध, साहित्य का उद्देश्य अन्तिम व्याख्यान, कफन अन्तिम कहानी, गोदान अन्तिम पूर्ण उपन्यास तथा मंगलसूत्र अन्तिम अपूर्ण उपन्यास माना जाता है।
His works include Godaan, Karmabhoomi, Gaban, Mansarovar, and Idgah. He published his first collection of five short stories in 1907 in a book called Soz-e-Watan (Sorrow of the Nation).
His works include more than a dozen novels, around 300 short stories, several essays and translations of a number of foreign literary works into Hindi.
Mill (Mazdoor), (1934)
This is the only film written by the acclaimed writer Munshi Premchand in which he also played a cameo. The film courted controversy owing to its story of the prodigal son of a benevolent mill worker who inherits the mill and proceeds to treat its workers with disdain.
केदार नाथ साहू (मृत्यु- 8 अक्टूबर, 2008) भारत के प्रसिद्ध लोक नृत्य कलाकार थे। वह सरायकेला शैली में छऊ नृत्य के कलाकार थे। उन्होंने भारत के अलावा पूर्वी यूरोप, दक्षिणी अमेरिका व दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया में छऊ का नृत्य प्रदर्शन किया। केदार नाथ साहू ने सरायकेला स्थित राजकीय छऊ नृत्य कला केंद्र में 1974 से 1988 तक प्रशिक्षण दिया। केदार नाथ साहू के शिष्यों में यूके निवासी शेरोन लोवेन, गोपाल प्रसाद दुबे व शशधर आचार्य भी शामिल थे। सन 1981 में केदार नाथ साहू को संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार भी मिला था। इसके अलावा उन्हें 2005 में पद्म श्री सम्मान से नवाज़ा गया।

Raaj Kumar began his career with Rangeeli in 1952 and followed it with Anmol Sahar (1952), Aabshar (1953), Ghamand (1955), most of which sank without a trace. He got his breakthrough in 1957 with Mehboob Khan’s epic drama Mother India. The film emerged an All Time Blockbuster at the box office and also the most successful film of the 1950s. It went on to win several accolades and was also featured in the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die.

राज कुमार ने ‘दिल एक मंदिर’ और ‘वक़्त’ के लिए फ़िल्मफ़ेयर सर्वश्रेष्ठ सहायक अभिनेता का पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। फिल्म उद्योग का नोबेल,फिल्म जगत का सर्वोच्च पुरस्कार दादा साहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार 1996 से भी इन्हें नवाजा गया।

Kumar began the new decade with Kishore Sahu’s romantic drama Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai.The film proved to be a box office superhit with one of its song “Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh” sung by Lata Mangeshkar becoming a chartbuster. In 1961, he appeared alongside Rajendra Kumar and Asha Parekh in Gharana.
